HANSON ANNOUNCE SHOUT IT OUT WORLD TOUR DATES IN SOUTH EAST ASIA SPRING 2012 FOLLOWING LATIN AMERICA, EUROPE and US TOURS
After a five-year touring hiatus from many international markets outside their US home base, Grammy nominated pop-rock trio HANSON announce additional shows in the Philippines in March 2012, as part of their Shout It Out World Tour in support of their acclaimed fifth studio album “Shout It Out”.
Currently on the European leg of the Shout It Out World Tour, which began in Latin America earlier this month in conjunction with the digital release of the album in those markets, the band is focused on fulfilling their pledge to fans to return to many international territories, which includes their announcements to stage concerts in Manila and Cebu in 2012.

“It’s an amazing thing to have the opportunity to reach people with your music in different parts of the world, and we are really thrilled to finally be able to return to the Philippines with this album and tour,” says singer and keyboardist Taylor Hanson.
Adds guitarist Isaac, “In this business it is rare to be able to maintain the passion of fans over long periods of time - this tour is a thank you to fans who have stuck with us for years.”
HANSON began to build excitement for their world tour with a triumphant run of five consecutive sold-out shows in the UK as part of the career spanning concert series 5of5, followed by the release of “Shout It Out” in the UK earlier this year. The band’s appearance in the Philippines will signify a renewed focus from HANSON on touring in Southeast Asia and other nearby territories.
The Shout It Out World Tour will feature tracks from their acclaimed 5th studio album of the same name, as well as highlights from their previous four albums which include 8 top 40 singles in the UK and Latin America, spanning nearly 15 years of music. The tour will also feature the infectious single Give A Little and the soul-inspired US debut single Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’.
The current tour builds on the band’s reputation as a dynamic live act, with acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. New York’s The Village Voice called them “The finest straight-up rock band in America,” whilst the UK’s Sunday Times described their sound as “As perfect a slice of summer pop as you could hope to hear” and the Evening Standard as “…a gloriously soulful quality… Taylor was an electrifying presence.”
“Shout It Out” debuted in the US at #2 in the Billboard Independent charts. The album was produced and written exclusively by the band, and features special guests Funk Brother’s bassist Bob Babbitt, and horn arranger Jerry Hey, who worked with Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Earth, Wind and Fire.

Get ready to have your simple world turned upside down as the band that gave you the hit song “Welcome to My Life”, “Untitled” and “Perfect” once again rocks Manila. DAYLY Entertainment and Midas Promotions proudly brings: Simple Plan Live in Manila for the Get Your Heart On! Tour.
This Canadian pop punk band from Montréal, Quebec entered the pop punk rock scene in 1999. High school friends Charles-Andre “Chuck” Comeau, Jean-Francois “Jeff” Stinco and Sebastian Lefebvre got together to form Simple Plan. Comeau met former Reset bandmate Pierre Bouvier at a Sugar Ray concert, and soon after Bouvier left Reset to join Simple Plan. David Desroriers joined the band and replaced Bouvier on bass, allowing Bouvier to concentrate on the singing.
They released their first studio album, No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls in 2002, with twelve tracks including the hit “Perfect”, creating a mark on the pop punk rock scene. This was followed by Still Not Getting Any in 2004 with singles “Welcome to My Life”, “Shut Up!, “Untitled”, “Crazy” and “Perfect World”. According to the band, on this album, they wanted to explore a more “versatile” sound, still good music but not limited to the punk rock genre.
After touring for more than a year and performing for their massive music fan base, Simple Plan took some time off in 2006 to work on their 3rd album, working with producer Dave Fortman. On October 29, 2006 they released their self-titled album Simple Plan with “When I’m Gone” as the carrier single peaking at number 26 on the UK charts, giving them their highest charting single in the UK. Simple Plan’s music has now achieved global status and has earned them numerous nominations and several wins at different music awards.
Not just your average rock stars, Simple Plan has also shown their philanthropic side by donating to many non profit and advocacy groups like MTV Asia Aid Benefit, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), RADD (Recording Artists and Athletes against Drunk Driving) and Make-A Wish Foundation. Afterwards they created the Simple Plan Foundation, a foundation that focuses on teen problems.
Simple Plan also made a mark in Hollywood by having several of their songs featured in the movies Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo 2. They also appeared in the 2004 film New York Minute. The band garnered considerable worldwide recognition and their name has become a staple to many teenagers and young adults’ music playlists.
To promote their 4th album Get Your Heart On!, which features collaboration with several artists like Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Natasha Bedingfield, K’naan and All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth, Simple Plan embarks on their Get Your Heart On tour. “Jet Lag” feat. Natasha Bedingfield for the English version and Marie-Mai for the French version is the album’s first single and has gained significant airplay worldwide.
The band has visited Manila first in March 2005, performing together with Avril Lavigne. Leaving their local fans wanting for more, they came back in August 2008 with New Found Glory and Jamie Scott. Now, Simple Plan will once again bring some punk rock induced energy into Manila on January 12, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Jump, scream and sing your lungs out to the latest tunes brought to you by Simple Plan!

Prepare for an unforgettable ride this December as DAYLY Entertainment brings you TRAIN Live in Manila!
American rock band Train is set to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on December 7, 2011. They are the band behind the hits “Meet Virginia,” “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)”, “Hey, Soul Sister,” “If It’s Love” and “Marry Me.”
Train was formed in San Fransisco, California in 1994 and the current members are Patrick Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stafford (guitar) and Scott Underwood (drums). Touring with the band since 2009 are Jerry Becker (keyboards, guitar) and Hector Maldonado (bass, vocals, percussion).
The band first shot to fame in 1998 with the release of their first album which had the hit single “Meet Virginia”. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). Since then the band has had numerous hit singles on Billboard charts and their other albums were also certified platinum. The “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” from their second album was on the Hot 100 chart for a year and won two Grammy awards in 2002 for Best Rock Song and Best Arrangement.
Train scored another Top 20 hit with “Calling All Angels” from their third album and it was even used in the hit TV series One Tree Hill. The band’s other songs were also used in movie trailers and even advertising campaigns. “When I Look to the Sky” was used in the trailer for the 2004 movie Jersey Girl; “Ordinary” was first featured in Spider-Man 2 then in the 2007 TV series Heroes.
The band took a three-year hiatus after the release of their fourth studio album, “For Me, It’s You.” They returned with their highly-successful fifth studio album “Save Me, San Francisco” in October 2009. Upon its release, the lead single “Hey, Soul Sister” reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the most downloaded song on iTunes in 2010, the best-selling single in Columbia Records history and certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. This 2011, Train was awarded Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 53rd Grammy Awards and Top Rock Song at the Billboard Music Awards 2011. The album’s follow-up singles “If It’s Love” and “Marry Me” have also been certified gold and have been getting consistent radio airplay not just in the USA, but also in the Philippines. “Marry Me” was again used in the TV series One Tree Hill.
Train has toured extensively since 2009. Early this year, they were invited to perform at the Dubai Jazz Festival, and the Pop Festival in Bogot. Just a month ago, they concluded a co-headlining, full-scale summer tour with Maroon 5 which took them to over 40 venues across the USA.
The band is reportedly working on their sixth studio album, tentatively scheduled for release in early 2012. While Train is keeping busy in the studio, fans can listen to their brand-new songs “To Be Loved,” which is featured on the soundtrack album of the movie Abduction starring Taylor Lautner and “Brand New Book,” the theme song of The Biggest Loser in the USA.
