Smash Project 2012 is a 5-hour non-stop music fest brought to you by 4 American bands. It’s going to be an event to remember as fans unite to celebrate the music of their favorite bands.

One of the bands that would rock the Dome on March is American rock band from Las Vegas, The Cab. Formed in 2008, their debut album “Whisper War” was released on April 2008. Hailed by Alternative Press magazine as “The Band You Need to Know 2008”, The Cab came in strong in the music industry. They are composed of Alexander de Leon (lead vocals), Alex Marshall (piano,guitar) and Joey Thunder bass). The Cab’s musical style appeal to various set of listeners, their songs are well written and relatable, accompanied by upbeat and catchy guitar riffs and backed by a versatile vocal delivery by Alex De Leon. It’s no wonder that they were able to turn the heads of music lovers into their direction.

Gaining positive feedbacks on their album, their rise was accompanied by a creation of a loyal and solid fan base that continuously supports the band. They have previously toured with Dashboard Confessional and Cobra Starship along with several notable bands in the United States. This may be their first time to set foot in the Philippine soil, but their Filipino fans have already been waiting for them for quite some time.

Expect the band to play some of the old time favorites as well as new ones from their sophomore album “Symphony Soldier” this coming March 8 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Together with Cobra Starship, Dashboard Confessional and The Used, The Cab will never fail to give you a night to remember.
